2020 has been quite a decade…I mean year. With COVID cases on the rise again, schools are going remote if they aren’t already and you’re probably still working remotely from home. At the end of the year, I like to reflect on the year that was and plan for the year that will be. But what will be isn’t up to me, and that’s hard to plan around, but I’ll give it a try. Here are my reflections of 2020 and plans for 2021.
Reflections of 2020:
My book, 365 Days of Organizing: a little help every day to become organized is nearly done and I’m planning its release later this month, right in time for the holidays and the new year!
COVID has thrown my business into a space I couldn’t have imagined. I’m now mainly working remotely with clients or alone in their homes.
I’ve built up my team to work with clients since I can’t be on site.
I’m doing a lot more planning and design projects and have completed several closet designs for clients outside of the NYC area.
Several of my clients are moving out of the city permanently and it’s been sad to see them go.
Plans for 2021:
Get back to seeing clients in person!
Schedule my time to be more productive.
Be more active on social media to stay in touch with people.
Learn how to work out without a gym.
Complete home projects since I’m spending so much time at home.
I’d love to hear what you’re planning for 2021, knowing that so much of it is in the air. Still, I feel that without a course of action, much like a ship without a rudder, we can easily go off course.
